Women's Basketball Travels To Central Oklahoma For First Round Of MIAA Tournament

-The Lady Lions defeated Lincoln 73-63 on Saturday to earn the final spot in the MIAA tournament. Lindenwood will be the 12th seed, while its opponent, Central Oklahoma, will be the fifth seed.

-Lindenwood carries an 8-20 overall record with a 4-18 mark in the MIAA. The Lady Lions were defeated 73-69 by Central Missouri in the first round of the MIAA tournament last season. Lindenwood is 2-12 on the road this season after its last win of the season came in Jefferson City, Mo.

-The Lady Lions have lost twice to Central Oklahoma this season. The Bronchos won game one 83-68 in St. Charles, Mo. and took game two as well by a final of 79-58 in Edmond, Okla.

-Gengenbacher is averaging 23.5 points in the two games against the Bronchos, while grabbing 5.5 rebounds per game. Charisse Williams is scoring 11.5 points, and is 8-for-9 from the free throw line.

-Jenny Rocha is putting up 10.5 points against Central Oklahoma, with 13 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. CeCe Rapp scored 14 points in two games, with seven total rebounds, and four blocks.

-McKenzie Solberg put up a team-high 19 points against the Lady Lions, while Julia Mason scored 12 points in the first game against Lindenwood. Solberg scored 18 points in the second meeting, as Mason put up 10 points with seven rebounds.
