Series Notes:-The Lindenwood women's hockey team returns home for its final regular season games at the Lindenwood Ice Arena on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon vs. the RIT Tigers.
-This past weekend, the Lady Lions traveled to Pittsburgh, Pa. for a two-game series with the Robert Morris Colonials. During the first game on Friday, Lindenwood jumped out to an early 2-0 advantage before allowing five unanswered goals, ultimately falling by a final score of 5-2. During Saturday's action, the Lady Lions rallied with two goals in the second period, tying the game at two and forcing overtime. The Colonials would prevail in overtime by a final of 3-2.
-Earlier this season on Dec. 4-5, Lindenwood traveled to Rochester, N.Y. for a two-game matchup with the Tigers. The Lady Lions went 1-0-1 during the two-game road series, outscoring RIT 5-2 over that time. Lindenwood recieved goals from five different scorers, while 11 skaters picked up at least one point.
-RIT arrives in Wentzville with a season record of 6-21-1 and 2-11-1 from within the CHA. The Tigers currently sit in sixth-place in the conference standings with a total of five points. Robert Morris is coming off of a two-game road series at Penn State, during which they dropped both contests by scores of 1-0 and 2-0. RIT is led offensively by Reagan Rust, who has recorded a team-leading 15 points. The Tigers have shared their goaltending duties between three different net-minders this season, who together have compiled a .902 save percentage.
Lindenwood Notes:-With her first save on Jan. 29 at RMU, goaltender
Nicole Hensley eclipsed the NCAA all-time saves record of 3,809. Hensley finished the weekend with 51 saves for a total of 3,862.

Shannon Morris-Reade was honored as the CHA Rookie of the Month for the month of January. Morris-Reade played in eight games during the month, recording points in five of the eight contests.

Kaitlyn Davidson notched her first-career goal on Jan. 30 at RMU. Davidson currently has three points this season.

Britannia Gillanders scored her eighth goal of the season on Jan. 29 in the first-period at RMU. Gillanders ranks second on the team in goals scored.

Carrie Atkinson scored her third goal of the season on Jan. 30. For Atkinson the score came while on the power-play, her second such goal of the season.
-The Lady Lions recorded power-play goals in back-to-back games for the third-time this season on Jan.29-30 at RMU.

Corbin Welsh continues to be a force in the faceoff circle for the Lady Lions, raising her season winning-percentage to 51.5%.
Shara Jasper ranks second on the squad with a percentage of 46.8%.

Tae Otte blocked 16 shots this weekend at RMU, adding to her team-leading total of 75 blocks. Otte blocked a career-high 10 shots on Jan. 30.
-The Lady Lions will be honoring their four seniors with a pregame ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
-Lindenwood will hit the road on Feb. 12-13 for a two-game CHA series with the Penn State Nittany Lions from University Park, Pa.
