A shorthanded Lindenwood men's volleyball team fell to No. 13 Lewis on Saturday night at Hyland Arena by scores of 25-13, 25-20, and 25-19.
Lewis outblocked the Lindenwood by an 11-3 margin, which helped limit the Lions to just a .173 hitting percentage. The Flyers hit .386 for the match as they had just five unforced hitting errors.
Lindenwood was led by
Connor Hipelius who had a season-high 10 kills and hit .500 for the match.
Ryan Moore led the team with 11 kills, two blocks, and 13 digs, and he had one of the team's three service aces.
Michael Chard finished the match with nine kills.
Roman Seghezzi had 31 assists and also led the team with five digs.
The Lions fall to 2-7 overall and 0-3 in MIVA action. Lindenwood is off until Wednesday, Feb. 17, when it hosts McKendree at 7 p.m. in Hyland Arena.
