The Lindenwood men's volleyball team fell to No. 12 Loyola Chicago on Friday evening in Chicago, Ill. The final scores were 25-21, 34-32, and 25-17.

Lindenwood had a 20-19 lead late in the first set, but the Ramblers went on a 6-1 run to close out the set. The Lions then had six chances to win the second set, but couldn't put the Ramblers away. The Lions had four service errors in that stretch, which helped Loyola Chicago win. The Ramblers then used the momentum from that second-set win to grab an early lead in the third set, and Lindenwood could never catch up.

Loyola Chicago won the game with its blocking and serving. The Ramblers had seven more blocks in the match and seven more service aces. They also held the Lions to a .213 hitting percentage, while hitting .329 for the match.

Lindenwood was led offensively by
Jake Duckworth, who had 12 kills and a .318 hitting percentage.
Ryan Moore finished with eight kills in the match. Both Duckworth and Moore also had two service aces and finished with double-figure points. Among the specialists,
Roman Seghezzi had 30 assists and
Ryan Vorderer had seven digs.

Lindenwood falls to 4-11 on the season and 2-7 in MIVA play. The Lions will stay on the road on Saturday night to face Lewis.
