The Mocs would record three of the next four goals, extending their lead to 6-2 with 12:58 remaining in the first half. Allison Hurley was responsible for scoring the lone Lady Lion goal during that stretch.

Lindenwood would rattle off two consecutive scores from 12:58 to 10:28, as Jordyn Constance and Morgan Judd found the back of the net, drawing the Lady Lions closer at 6-4.
The Mocs poured in three straight goals to close out the first half of play, building a 9-4 lead heading into halftime.

Lindenwood began the second half with a man-up advantage, and Amanda Schimpke scored 30 seconds into action, making the score 9-5. Florida Southern again would notch three of the next four goals, building a 12-6 lead.

The Lady Lions answered the Mocs rally by also scoring three of the next four goals. Morgan Judd, Sarah Cromer, and Cassie Stucklen were the Lindenwood goal scorers, as the team pulled within four goals of Florida Southern at 13-9.

Four goals would be the closest Lindenwood would get to Florida Southern, as the Mocs and Lady Lions each scored twice over the final 7:40 of play, bringing the game to its final score of 15-11.

Rachel Ortell suffered her first loss in goal of the season, making nine saves in goal for the Lady Lions, moving her record to 11-1.
