The Lindenwood women's basketball team will look to win the season-series against Missouri Southern on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. in Joplin, Mo.

Lindenwood Notes:
-The Lady Lions have struggled to earn their second conference win this season as they lost their fourth-straight MIAA game on Saturday against No. 16 Central Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon.

-Lindenwood played three strong quarter against the Bronchos, but foul trouble and a thin bench allowed No. 16 Central Oklahoma to break away to a 25-point fourth quarter and a 74-58 win.

Bre Zanders led the Lady Lions with seven rebounds, while
Charisse Williams scored 11 points for her 17th game of scoring in double-digits in her career.

Breanna Venson scored her first career point against No. 16 Central Oklahoma and
CeCe Rapp led the team in blocks for the 18th time in her career.

Lindsay Medlen has compiled 41 assists on the season and
Charisse Williams has 18 steals on the year while averaging 8.4 points per contest. Medlen ranks ninth in the conference with her 3.4 assists per game.

Kallie Bildner is leading the MIAA with a 52.6 field goal percentage and is leading the team with 14.2 points and 9.0 rebound per game.

-Lindenwood is 2-4 on the road, but 0-2 in conference games away from Hyland Arena. The Lady Lions are 0-6 when trailing at the half, but have won four games when holding the advantage after two quarters of play.

Thursday's Game:
-Lindenwood will visit Joplin, Mo. with a 5-8 record overall and a 1-5 mark in the MIAA while its counterpart, Missouri Southern holds a record of 9-6 overall and a 4-1 conference record.

-Missouri Southern was undefeated against Lindenwood in the nine-games prior to this season dating back to 1982.

-The Lady Lions defeated Missouri Southern 86-80 in the previous meeting on Dec. 10 in Hyland Arena.Â
Kallie Bildner had 24 points with 15 rebounds while
Gabby Walker posted 14 points with five boards.

-Lindenwood shot just 1-for-12 from three-point range and 62 percent from the charity stripe, but outrebounded the visiting Lions 41-28 and scored 56 points in the paint.

Missouri Southern Notes:
-The Lions are 4-1 since the loss to Lindenwood last month including a 77-65 loss to Missouri Western on Saturday in St. Joseph, Mo.

-Missouri Southern has three players in double-digit scoring this season; Deb Holcomb (16.7), Desirea Buerge (11.7), and Chelsey Henry (10.7).

-Deb Holcomb is leading the team with 32 assists and 20 steals while Desirea Buerge (6.1) and Jenson Maydew (6.0) are grabbing the most rebounds per game.
