The Lindenwood women's basketball team will hit the road for a long road-trip to Kearney, Neb. for a 5:30 p.m. game against Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday night.

Lindenwood Notes:
-The Lady Lions are looking to bounce back from a 79-59 loss to Central Missouri on Saturday afternoon in Hyland Arena. Lindenwood struggled in the opening quarter, but outplayed the Jennies in the remaining three quarters.

Jerricah Butler was 10-for-12 from the free-throw line and knocked down a three-pointer en route to her fourth game with 10 points or more. Butler has scored 40 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in her last four games while shooting 44 percent from the field.

Alex Haley had her second-consecutive 10-point game while
CeCe Rapp dropped 10 points with seven rebounds.

Gabby Walker has been the go-to player for the Lady Lions as of late as she has compiled 11.6 points per game on a field goal percentage of 54 percent and is snagging 5.1 rebounds per game.

Lindsay Medlen is eighth in the league with 3.6 assists per game.

-Lindenwood has moved up to third in the conference with a rebounding advantage of 7.9 per game and is ninth in the MIAA with a 43 percent field goal percentage.

-The Lady Lions are 5-1 when leading at the half and 6-2 when leading with five minutes to go in the game. Lindenwood is undefeated when shooting 50 percent or higher and has not lost when scoring between 70-79 points.

Thursday's Game:
-Lindenwood visits Kearney, Neb. with a 7-10 overall record and a 3-7 mark in the MIAA while Nebraska-Kearney is 5-12 on the year and 1-8 in conference play.

-The Lopers have won each of the five meetings between the two schools since the 2012-13 season. Last year, the Lady Lions fell 72-57 on the road in which
Charisse Williams scored nine points and handed out two assists.

-Lindenwood is 3-5 on the road this season while the Lopers are 4-6 when playing at home. Nebraska-Kearney has not won a conference game at home as the Lady Lions have won just one MIAA game on the road.

Nebraska-Kearney Notes:
-The Lopers are coming off of a 55-51 loss to Missouri Western on the road, however, Nebraska-Kearney defeated Northwest Missouri 69-64 in Maryville, Mo. a week ago.

-Michaela Barry (14.1) and McKenzie Brown (10.6) are leading the team on the offensive end while Courtney Aitken is grabbing 6.7 rebounds per game.

-Nebraska-Kearney ranks in the middle of the conference by shooting 70 percent from the charity stripe and has allowed 61.5 points per game.

-The Lopers are coached by Carrie Eighmey who is in her second season at Nebraska-Kearney and holds a 20-26 record. Eighmey is in her fifth season of her career and is 104-68 as a collegiate head coach.
