The Lindenwood women's basketball team will return to Hyland Arena on Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. to take on Missouri Western in St. Charles, Mo. Thursday' game will include efforts to support the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Lindenwood Notes:
-After a two-game road trip, the Lady Lions brought back just one win, but a 76-70 win over Fort Hays State snapped a regular-season home winning streak that the Tigers had held since Feb. 15, 2014.

Gabby Walker posted her first-career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds while
Bre Zanders posted a season-high six points with two blocks and four rebounds.

Lindsay Medlen and
Alex Haley each scored 16 points, while Medlen added three assists with five rebounds, as Haley dished out three assists and two boards.
-Lindenwood is sitting in the middle of the conference in scoring offense (66.9), field goal percentage (42.7), and rebounding margin (6.4).
-The Lady Lions are seeing a balanced distribution of points as five players are averaging eight point or more per game, while
Kallie Bildner (14.2) and
Gabby Walker (11.2) are averaging double-digits per contest.

CeCe Rapp is seventh in the MIAA with 1.2 blocks per night while
Lindsay Medlen is ninth in the league with 3.4 assists per game.
Thursday's Game:
-Lindenwood will enter the night with an 8-11 overall record and a 4-8 mark in the MIAA while Missouri Western will visit St. Charles, Mo. with a 15-5 record on the season and a conference record of 7-4.
-The Lady Lions are just 1-6 against the Griffons since the 2012-13 season as the only win came on Feb. 8, 2014 in a 72-60 victory in Hyland Arena.
-Missouri Western beat down the on the Lady Lions last meeting in a 93-50 win in St. Joseph, Mo. when the Griffons were ranked ninth in the WBCA Coaches Poll, but the earlier meeting in St. Charles, Mo. was just a two-point win for the then No. 16 Griffons.
Missouri Western Notes:
-The Griffons are on a three-game winning streak in which all wins were on their home court. Missouri Western upset No 23 Fort Hays State before defeating Nebraska-Kearney and Northwest Missouri State.
-Chelsea Dewey is the team-leader with 13.1 points per night including a three-point percentage of 37.5 percent. Julia Torres is grabbing 7.6 rebounds per game while adding 9.4 points per contest.
-The Griffons are 4-3 on the road and 3-2 in MIAA games played away from home. Missouri Western is holding opponents to a conference-leading 57.1 points per game, but is outmatched in the rebounding department with a -1.7 margin per game.
-Missouri Western is coached by Rob Edmisson who is in his fifth season with the Griffons and 21st in his career. Edmisson is 83-49 at Missouri Western and holds a career record of 472-157.
