OVERVIEW
No. 10 Lindenwood defeated Newberry 2-1 on the road in a thrilling double overtime contest. It was the Lions first overtime game this season. The victory moves LU to 7-1 overall with a 5-1 mark in ECAC games.

- Bridget Hoogendijk scored her eighth goal of the season in the 45th minute to tie the game at one. She moves into fifth all-time on the Lindenwood single-season scoring list.
- Greta Banholzer tallied the game-winning goal in double overtime. She paced the Lion attack all game with a team-leading seven shots (four on goal).
- Renee Duffy also had seven shots in the game.
- Skylar Starbeck played all 100 minutes in goal for Lindenwood, collected four saves.
- Lindenwood out-shot Newberry 27-7 overall, including an 11-1 margin in the overtime periods.
