The Lindenwood women's soccer team lost in a nail biter on Friday in a 1-0 game against Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, Mo.

The Bearcats broke the tie in the 74th minute after the momentum began to shift towards Southwest Baptist. The Lions could not recover from the late goal as their final chance came in the 83rd minute off a corner kick.

Lindenwood moves to 5-9-1 on the year and 2-5-1 in the MIAA while the Bearcats stand at 3-10-2 on the season and 0-7-1 in conference play. The Lions will head to Joplin, Mo. on Sunday to take on Missouri Southern at 1 p.m.
