Series Notes:
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team will play its first CHA road series of the season this weekend with a two-game series in Rochester, N.Y. The Lions will take on the RIT Tigers inside the Gene Polisseni Center at 6:05 p.m. ET on Friday, before concluding the series at 1:05 p.m. ET on Saturday.
- Lindenwood and RIT have met 18 times since the start of the 2012 season. The Tigers own a 8-5-5 record during the all-time series. However, in the last 10 meetings between the CHA foes, Lindenwood and RIT have each collected four wins and two ties. The Lions have a 2-5-3 record all-time in games played in Rochester, N.Y.
- Last season, Lindenwood posted its lone victory over RIT on November 18 in Wentzville, Mo. The Lions defeated the Tigers by a final score of 2-0, and received goals from
Cierra Paisley and
Carla Goodwin.
Jolene deBruyn posted 21 saves in the shutout for Lindenwood, the first of her career.
- Lindenwood and RIT are slated to meet again later this season, playing a two-game series at the Lindenwood Ice Arena on January 26-27.

Taylor Girard scored the first shorthanded goal of her career during the first period on Oct. 13 against Mercyhurst. Girard added an even-strength score later in the game, raising her team-leading total to five goals this season.
- Girard is currently tied for 10th in the nation with five goals scored. Girard and
Sierra Burt are tied for eighth in Division I with two power-play goals each.
- Burt netted her second power-play goal of the season on Oct. 14 against Mercyhurst. Burt leads Lindenwood's freshmen with two goals this season.

Shannon Morris-Reade scored her first goal of the season against Mercyhurst on Oct. 13. Morris-Reade's goal proved to be the game-winning score, her first of the season and the second of her career.

Cierra Paisley had her second multi-assist performance of the season on Oct. 13 versus Mercyhurst. Paisley had just one such game during her career before this season.

Christiana von Aulock assisted on Lindenwood's game-winning goal on Oct. 13. For von Aulock, the assist was the first point of her collegiate career.

Jolene deBruyn stopped 53 shots during her two starts against Mercyhurst. deBruyn ranks third in the nation with 187 saves this season.
- Lindenwood has killed off a CHA-leading 86.4 percent (19-of-22) of its penalties this season.
- The Lions will return home for a two-game series against #9 Robert Morris on Nov. 3-4.
