Women's Hockey Hosts No. 6 Minnesota this Weekend

Series Notes:
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team returns home to the Lindenwood Ice Arena on November 25-26 for a two-game series with the No. 6 Minnesota Golden Gophers. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

- Minnesota leads the all-time series with Lindenwood by a 2-0-0 margin. The Golden Gophers secured back-to-back wins over the Lions to open the 2016-17 season on September 30 and October 1.

- The two-game series will be Lindenwood's third against a WCHA opponent this season. The Lions have two more non-conference series this season, including one against another WCHA foe, Minnesota State.

- Following its two games against Minnesota, Lindenwood will play its next six games on the road, and will not return to Wentzville, Mo. until January 12, 2018 for the first of two games against Penn State.

- The series finale between Lindenwood and Minnesota on Sunday afternoon will be Lindenwood's first Sunday game since February 28, 2016, a span of 43-consecutive games.

Lindenwood Notes:
- Hannah Alt scored her third goal of the season on Nov. 4 against Robert Morris. 

- Alt's score was her second power-play goal of the year, tying for Sierra Burt and Taylor Girard for the team lead in that category.

- Cierra Paisley netted her third score of the season on Nov. 4, raising her point total to eight, the second-highest total on the team.

- Girard dished out one of the two assists on Paisley's goal, bringing her team-leading point total to 12.

- Girard has registered at least one point in eight of Lindenwood's 10 games this season.

- Mariah Hinds earned her fourth assist of the season against Robert Morris on Nov. 4. Hind's leads all Lindenwood freshmen with five points this season.

- Ally Larson blocked two shots in the series against Robert Morris. Larson leads Lindenwood with 26 blocked shots this season.

- Britannia Gillanders has played in 112 games for the Lions, tied for the ninth-most in program history.

- Jolene deBruyn stopped 32 of the 35 shots she faced on Nov. 4 against Robert Morris. deBruyn has made at least 30 saves four times this season. 

- Lindenwood's power-play unit is ranked second in the CHA with a success rate of 17.1 percent. The Lions have scored a power-play goal in three of their last five games.
