Lindenwood Notes:

Kallie Bildner is off to a hot start to the 2017-18 season.The sophomore is averaging 21.0 points and 14.8 rebounds per game. Bildner also has eight steals and seven blocks.
- Against Southern Arkansas, Bildner was 16-16 from the free throw line, the best such performance by a Lion in the NCAA era. She is the second Lion to ever record the feat (Jamie Bonney on 1/29/2000). The LWU record for free throws made is 19 by Jamie Bonney on March. 10, 2000.
- Lindenwood's defense is one of the best in the NCAA, The Lions rank 10th in DII in scoring defense at 47.8 points per game. Lindenwood is fifth in blocked shots per game at 6.5 and fifth in three-point field goal defense at 16.1.
- Lindsey Medlen is distributing the ball well for the Lions this season. She is 49th in the NCAA with 22 assists and 27th in assists per game at 5.5. Medlen is on pace for 150+ assists this season, a feat that has not been acheived in the NCAA era for Lindenwood.
- The Lions have been crashing the boards so far this season. They are eighth in NCAA DII with 51.0 rebounds per game. The Lions are 15th in defensive rebounds per game at 33 and 18th in offensive rebounds per game at 18. Lindenwood is second in all of NCAA DII with a 19.5 rebounding margin.
- Lindenwood is shooting the ball well in the early stretch of the season. So far, the Lions are 46.1% from the field, 35.4% from three and 78.2% from the line. At this pace, the 2017-18 Lions would finish second in single-season FG%, third in 3FG% and first in single-season FT% in the Lindenwood record book.
- Lindenwood was selected seventh in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll. The Lions return four starters from last year's team that advanced to the MIAA semifinals, battling then-No. 25 Central Oklahoma to an 84-82 nail-biter.
-Lindenwood is bringing back 76% of last year's scoring. Leading the returners is MIAA Freshman of the Year
Kallie Bildner. Bildner led the Lions with 14.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.

Tony Francis enters his eighth season at Lindenwood as the program's only coach in the NCAA era. He has a career record of 93-109.
STLCOP Notes:
- St. Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics come to Hyland Arena with a 2-3 record, most recently falling to Missouri Baptist 74-55.
- The Eutectics are on a two-game losing skid, with their last win coming on Nov. 13 against Lincoln Christian, 82-65.
- STLCOP is led by reigning AMC Player of the Week Morgan Dermody. She is one of the top rebounders in the NAIA, ranking fifth overall with 12.2 rebounds per game. Additionally, Dermody is 19th in blocks per game (1.6) and offensive rebounds per game (4.0).
- A Eutectic is a substance whose melting point is lower than that of any other alloy or mixture of the same ingredients.
STLCOP Series Notes:
- The Lions and STLCOP have met once previously with Lindenwood winning 92-45 on 11/8/2008.
McKendree Notes:
- The Bearcats head to Hyland with a 1-2 overall record. They are coming off a 72-54 loss to Winona State on Nov. 18 at the Quincy Tip-Off Classic.
- McKendree is led by the play of Jordan Heberg who leads the team with 13 points per game. She's also posting 3.0 rebounds per contest.
- The Bearcats excel at protecting the ball. They have the 29th fewest turnovers in the NCAA this season.
