The Lindenwood men's basketball team won its fourth straight game on Saturday afternoon at Hyland Arena. The Lions had their final tuneup before conference play and earned an 81-56 victory over Ecclesia.

The Lions took 28 more field-goal shots in the contest, thanks to a +10 turnover margin and 24 offensive rebounds. Lindenwood had 20 second-chance points and 26 points off turnovers.

The Royals shot 46 percent from the field, but turned the ball over 16 times and took just four free throws in the game. The Lions had 43 total rebounds and turned the ball over just six times. Lindenwood shot 41 percent from the field, and had 19 assists on its 32 made field goals.

Chandler Diekvoss led Lindenwood with 20 points, followed by
Jackson Price with 12 and
Drew Moore with 10. Moore and Diekvoss both had team-highs of eight rebounds, and Price had a team-best six assists.

Lindenwood finished with 38 points from its bench, led by Price's 12.
Max Meylor added nine, Deigo Womack had a season-high eight points, and
Zac Haese finished with seven. Ten of the eleven players that saw action for the Lions scored in the game, 10 had at least one rebound, and eight had at least one assist.
Lindenwood moves to 6-1 on the season. The Lions are off until next Thursday when they start MIAA play at Pittsburg State.
