Lady Lions Start Final Stretch of the Season Against Lincoln

The Lindenwood women's basketball team will continue its MIAA schedule on Saturday against Lincoln for a 1:30 p.m. tip-off in Jefferson City, Mo.
 
Lindenwood Notes:
-The Lady Lions are coming off of a 101-35 win over Robert Morris-Springfield on Thursday night in Hyland Arena.  Lindenwood played a fast-paced game from start to finish and jumped into the top-10 in the school record books in multiple categories.
 
-The 101 points scored by Lindenwood is tied for the fifth-most in programs history while the 41 field goals made ranks sixth all-time in Lindenwood history.  The Lady Lions dished out 28 assists to tie the fourth-most assists in one game.
 
-Kallie Bildner registered her fifth double-double this season with her 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Megan Foster posted a career-high 12 points and nine rebounds while Bre Zanders scored a season-high eight points and Hanna Reller tallied seven points.
 
-Charisse Williams scored 12 points and led the team with six assists and five steals while CeCe Rapp tallied seven points, four rebounds, and three blocks.
 
-Lindenwood is ranked third in the MIAA with an 8.1 rebounding margin and is fifth in the conference with a 43.3 field goal percentage.
 
-Lindsay Medlen is ninth in the conference with 3.4 assists per game while Kallie Bildner is leading the team with 13.3 points per night and 8.2 rebounds per contest.
 
-The Lady Lions are 8-2 when leading after the first half and 9-2 with five minutes to go in the game.  Lindenwood holds an 8-4 mark when shooting a better field goal percentage than its counterpart and is 3-1 when committing fewer turnovers than the opposition.
 
Saturday's Game:
-Lindenwood enters the game with a 10-12 record on the season and a 5-9 mark in the MIAA while Lincoln is 3-18 on the year and 2-12 in conference play.
 
-Lincoln holds the series lead 6-3 since the 2011-12 season.  Last year, Lindenwood defeated the Blue Tigers in both meetings including a 73-63 win in Jefferson City, Mo.
 
-In the road win, Kylie Ferguson dropped 14 points with three assists and two steals.  Charisse Williams pitched in 11 points with five rebounds and two assists on 5-of-9 shooting.
 
Lincoln Notes:
-The Blue Tigers defeated Southwest Baptist 72-70 on Jan. 21 in Jefferson City, Mo., but have lost four-straight including two home games.
 
-Lincoln has won all of its games at home this year including its two conference wins.  The Blue Tigers have lost seven games this year that have been within 10 points.
 
-Lincoln is led by Azaria Nave who is scoring 13.9 per game and is seventh in the MIAA with a 43.1 field goal percentage.  Hunter Yoakum and Erica Gibbons are both averaging 12.6 points per night.
 
-Ayana McWilliams is in her first season as the head coach of the Blue Tigers after spending five seasons as an assistant coach at South Carolina Upstate.
