Series Notes:
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team embarks on its final regular-season road trip of 2016-17 with a two-game series in Erie, Pa. versus the Mercyhurst Lakers. The series begins on February 17 at 3:00 p.m. from Mercyhurst Ice Center, and concludes at 1:00 p.m. the following afternoon.
- Earlier this season Lindenwood hosted Mercyhurst for a two-game series on December 2-3 at Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo. The Lady Lions were blanked 4-0 during the opening game of the series, before prevailing by a score of 3-1 in the series finale.
- Mercyhurst owns an 18-3-1 edge in the all-time series dating back to the start of the 2011 season. Lindenwood is 0-9-1 when playing as the road team against Mercyhurst.
- Mercyhurst enters the weekend with a record of 7-8-1 from within the CHA in 2016-17. The Lakers currently sit in fourth place in the CHA standings with 15 points, and trail third-place Penn State by one point. Lindenwood is currently in sixth place and trails fifth-place RIT by three points.
- The Lakers are led offensively by Brooke Hartwick. The junior forward leads Mercyhurst with 27 points and 15 goals. Jessica Convery has started 18 games in net for the Lakers, compiling a .913 save percentage.

Britannia Gillanders scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season on February 10 versus Penn State. Gillanders has nine points this season, the second-highest single-season point total of her career.

Sarah Bobrowski tallied her fifth assist of the season against Penn State on February 10. Bobrowski ranks second on the team in assists, three behind
Cierra Paisley's team-leading total of eight.

Tae Otte dished out her first assist of the season against Penn State on February 10. The assist was Otte's first point of the year, as she became the 19th Lady Lion to register at least one point in 2016-17.

Jolene deBruyn started her 21st and 22nd games of the season during the two-game series with Penn State. deBruyn made 43 saves over the two-game stretch, bringing her season total to 619 saves.
- Lindenwood achieved a season-high shot total on February 11 versus Penn State. The Lady Lions posted 41 shots, the team's highest shot total since March 1, 2013 against Robert Morris.

Taylor Girard,
Emma Hare, and Paisley each totaled five shots on goal to lead Lindenwood on February 11. Paisley leads the Lady Lions with 58 shots this season.
- Lindenwood won 56 of its 106 faceoffs in the two-game series with Penn State for a winning percentage of 52.8 percent.
Holly Dietzler and Paisley paced the Lady Lions with 18 wins each in the faceoff circle against the Nittany Lions.
- After not allowing a power-play goal in the series with Penn State, it was the fourth time this season that Lindenwood held an opponent scoreless on the power-play for the duration of a two-game series. Â
