The Lindenwood women's basketball team will play Northwest Missouri State on Thursday night in Maryville, Mo. for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.

-The Lady Lions are coming off of a huge 69-67 upset win over No. 16 Central Missouri on Saturday in Warrensburg, Mo.

Jerricah Butler came through in the clutch after hitting the go-ahead layup with two seconds left and knocked down the bonus free-throw to give Lindenwood the two-point victory. Butler finished the game with 17 points and three rebounds while
Sara Ross and
Kallie Bildner each scored 14 points.

-Bildner recorded yet another double-double after she totaled 11 boards on the day. Lindenwood shot 47 percent from the field and made 16-of-19 free-throws while outrebounding the Jennies 42-31.

Sara Ross set a career-high of 14 points against the Jennies while shooting 6-of-9 from the floor while
Jerricah Butler set a new career-high with her team-leading 17 points.

-The Lady Lions are shooting 43.1 percent from the field which is seventh-best in the MIAA while ranking second in the conference with a 9.0 rebounding margin.

Lindsay Medlen is sixth in the MIAA with 3.6 assists per contest and
Kallie Bildner is leading the squad with 14.3 points per game, 9.3 rebounds per game, and is shooting 54.5 percent from the floor.

-Lindenwood is currently ranked 11th in the conference and have secured a spot in the MIAA tournament. The Lady Lions could finish the regular season anywhere between eight place and 12th place.

Thursday's Game:
-Northwest Missouri and Lindenwood are even in the series since the 2012-13 season. Lindenwood had the upper hand in the first meeting this year with an 81-70 win over the Bearcats on Feb. 4 in Hyland Arena.

-In the first meeting between the two schools, the Bearcats won handily by a 69-40 margin, but every game since then has been a competitive and exciting game.

-In the 11-point with earlier this year,
Sara Ross led the team with 14 points while
Jerricah Butler,
Charisse Williams, and
Kallie Bildner each tallied 13 points.

-Lindenwood shot 43.8 percent from the field, 77.8 percent from the charity stripe, and was just 3-of-19 from behind the arc. The Lady Lions dominated the paint with a margin of 50-32 and outrebounded the Bearcats 47-32.

Northwest Missouri Notes:
-Tanya Meyer is leading the Bearcats and the MIAA with 20.5 points per game while shooting 47.9 percent from the field. Meyer is also leading the squad with 9.8 rebounds per night and is second in the conference.

-Jasmin Howe is averaging 13.7 points per contest while Arbrie Benson is posting 10.7 points per game. Benson is also leading the team with 4.4 assists per game and 18 steals on the season.

-The Bearcats are coached by Buck Sheel who is in his first full season as head coach of the Bearcats.
