Tournament Notes:
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team travels to HarborCenter in Buffalo, N.Y. for a quarterfinal matchup with the Mercyhurst Lakers on March 2, 2017. Puck drop is set for 4:00 p.m. in the opening game of the 2017 CHA Tournament.
- Robert Morris and Syracuse finished the regular season as the top two teams in the CHA, earning first-round byes through the quarterfinal matchups. Fourth-seeded Penn State will take on fifth-seeded RIT in the second quarterfinal game on Thursday evening. The semifinal games will be played at HarborCenter on Friday, before Saturday's final.
- The winner of the CHA Tournament will earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The full tournament field will be announced on Sunday, March 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
- Lindenwood and Mercyhurst met four times during the 2016-17 regular season, with the Lakers winning three of the four matchups. On December 3, 2016 Lindenwood skated to a 3-1 victory in Wentzville, Mo. during the final game of a two-game series.
- Mercyhurst owns the edge in the all-time series, 20-3-1. The two teams have never met in postseason play.Â

Britannia Gillanders tallied her team-leading sixth goal of the season in the series opening game against Robert Morris on February 24. Gillanders is tied for the ninth-most career points in program history.

Lillian Marchant and
Katie Nokelby were credited with the assist on the Gillanders score. For Marchant the assist was her third of the season, while Nokelby registered her first helper of the year.

Jolene deBruyn started the final two regular season games versus Robert Morris on February 24-25, her 26th and 27th appearances in goal this season.
- deBruyn finished the weekend with 61 saves over the two-game stretch versus Robert Morris. On February 24, deBruyn equaled her single-game season-high total with a 36-save performance.
- Lindenwood outshot Robert Morris in the regular-season finale, 35-28. It was the fifth-time the Lady Lions outshot an opponent this season.

Taylor Girard posted a team-leading 11 shots in the series with Robert Morris, raising her season total to a team-best 69 shots on goal.
Cierra Paisley ranks second on the team with 67 shots.
- On February 25 Gillanders became the most recent Lady Lion to reach the 100 career games played plateau.

Carrie Atkinson (133) occupy the top-two spots in program history.
