The Lindenwood women's volleyball team dropped both of its matches on Saturday to Gannon University and Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio.

The Lions lost to Gannon by scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 25-23 after
Emily Wylie tallied 12 kills.Â
Megan Hellwege reached her 1,00th career dig after Saturday and had 24 digs in the first match of the day.Â
Ivy Reynolds had 18 assists, seven kills, and one service ace while adding 21 digs.

Lindenwood played an intense match against host school Urbana after dropping the first set 25-20, but won the second set 25-16. The Lions took the momentum after the third set with a 26-24 win, but another long set went in favor of Urbana 27-25 to even the match at 2-2. Urbana closed out the match with a 15-9 win in set five. Four Lions tallied double-digit kills while Reynolds and
Allyson Clancy each dished out 22 assists.

Lindenwood falls to 8-4 after the two matches on Saturday in Urbana, Ohio. The Lions travel to No. 25 Rockhurst on Tuesday in Kansas City, Mo. for a 7 p.m. start time.
