Box Score The Lindenwood women's hockey team was defeated by the No. 2 Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday afternoon from LaBahn Arena in Madison, Wis. The Badgers prevailed by a final score of 4-0.
The Badgers scored once during the first two periods, before tallying two goals over the final 20 minutes of play. Wisconsin outshot Lindenwood by a 38-9 margin for the game, and held the Lions scoreless on each of the team's two power-play attempts.

Jolene deBruyn stopped 34 saves, and kept Lindenwood within reach of Wisconsin for the majority of the contest.

Following the loss, Lindenwood moves to 0-2-0 on the season.
Lindenwood will open the home portion of its schedule on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. The Lions will host the Minnesota State-Mankato Mavericks at Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo.
