OVERVIEW
Lindenwood women's basketball fell to Pittsburg State 80-68 at Hyland Arena. The Lions were led by Kylie Ferguson, who scored a career-high 22 points. Lindenwood made a run late in the third quarter, going on a 10-2 run in the last two minutes of the period and later tied the game at 59 early in the fourth. However, the Gorillas prevailed in the fourth. Lindenwood falls to 10-7 overall and 2-6 in MIAA games.

NOTABLE
- Kylie Ferguson scored a career-high 22 points in the contest on 8-10 shooting (4-6 from three). She also set a career mark in field goals made and tied her career best in three-pointers made. 
- Sara Ross scored double-digits for the second-straight game with 14 points and five rebounds. 
- Kenzie Guese made an impact, scoring nine points on 4-4 shooting with five rebounds in 21 minutes of play.
- Jade Giron matched her career high with 11 points against the Gorillas. 
- As a team, the Lions shot 50% from the field. It is the seventh time this season Lindenwood has shot 50% or better in a game. 
- Due to injuries, the Lions had to rely on their bench in the contest and the bench responded with 42 points. Pitt State had 18 points from their bench.
