Starbeck Sets Record on Senior Night

GAME DETAILS
Lindenwood senior goalie Skylar Starbeck became the winningest goalkeeper in Lindenwood history in a 6-0 victory over visiting Bellarmine. She has 39 career victories, surpassing Victoria Gil on the all-time chart. With the win, the Lions move to 8-2 overall.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Jessie Londono opened the scoring in the first minute with a drive through the Knight defense, finishing to the left of goal.
- Noor Fons had the second tally in the ninth minute when she collected a rebound and pushed past the Bellarmine keeper.
- Bridget Hoogendijk scored soon after halftime with a goal in the 39th minute. Caro Theunisz ran through the defenders, and passed to a waiting Hoogendijk.
- In the 59th minute, Shelby Easley finished a pass from Shelby Pierson off a corner.
- Mary Clare Banholzer scored her third goal of the season in the 62nd minute. Fons sent in the pass from the top of the circle to Banholzer, waiting on the right post, who pushed it through.
- The final Lindenwood goal came four seconds before the final horn. Kaitlin MacLennan scored off a corner insert from Hoogendijk.
- Skylar Starbeck played all 70 minutes in goal, recording five saves. She not only set the career victory record, but is on pace to break the career Goals Against Average and Save Percentage statistics.
