LINDENWOOD NOTES
- Lindenwood hosts Illinois Springfield Friday at Hyland Arena. The Lions are 3-0 taking on the 1-1 Prairie Stars. UIS is the second consecutive GLVC opponent the Lions have played this week. Lindenwood defeated UMSL 82-66 on Wednesday at Hyland Arena. Lindenwood is joining the GLVC next season. 
-The 2018-19 Lions won both of their games in the MIAA/GAC Challenge last weekend in Magnolia, Arkansas. Kallie Bildner led the Lions in scoring (32 points) and rebounds (25) in the tournament. Against Arkansas-Monticello, Lindenwood shot 12-34 from beyond the arc, the most attempts and second-most makes from three in program NCAA history. 
- Returning for the Lions is junior forward Kallie Bildner, a 2017-18 All-Central Region honoree. The Waynesville, Mo. native led the Lions with 17.3 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. She was the only player in the MIAA to average a double-double. Bildner recorded 352 total rebounds, matching the Lindenwood single-season record. 
- Also returning for the Lions is junior point guard Lindsay Medlen. She was fourth in the MIAA with 3.6 assists per game (second among returning MIAA players). Medlen also led the Lions with 47 steals. 
- The Lions are led by first-year head coach Katie Falco. She comes to Lindenwood after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DI South Dakota State. 

UIS NOTES
- UIS has been strong on the glass in 2018-19. The Prairie Stars are 48th in NCAA DII with 46 rebounds per game. 
- Lauren Ladowski is the floor leader for UIS. She is fifth in NCAA DII with a 7.00 assist-to-turnover ratio. 
- Jasmine Sanger scores 19.0 points per game while gathering 8.5 rebounds per game. 
- Valerie Meissner is the top Prairie Star threat from beyond the arc. She is 32nd in the NCAA with 18 three-point attempts and 21st with eight makes. She is shooting 44.4% from three. 

SERIES NOTES
- The Lions are 2-0 all-time against UIS. Last season, the Lions defeated the Prairie Stars 77-64 in Springfield, Illinois. 
- In the contest last season, Kallie Bildner posted a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds. She also posted four blocks with two steals and two assists.
- Lindsay Medlen tallied 10 assists last year matching the Lindenwood record for assists in the game.
