Women's Volleyball Earns Win No. 15

MATCH OVERVIEW
Lindenwood women's volleyball earned its 15th win of the season with a sweep of Southwest Baptist. The Lions are now 15-13 overall and 7-10 in the MIAA. The victory moves Lindenwood to a three-way tie for sixth place in the conference standings. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Alexa Pressley led the match with 13 kills. The sophomore had only one error in 31 attacks for a .367 attack percentage.
- Lindenwood middles Kat Finnerty and Sadie Kosciuk were very efficient against SBU. Finnerty had 11 kills with a .529 attack percentage while Kosciuk notched eight kills with a .500 attack percentage.
- Kosciuk also had six blocks against the Bearcats.
- Jenna Garret and Sara Wagenknecht were tied for the team lead with 11 digs. Garret also added three aces.
- Allyson Clancy recorded 34 assists.
- As a team, the Lions hit .352 while holding the Bearcats to -.010. 
- The Lions out-blocked the Bearcats 9-4. 

PLAYOFF PICTURE
The Lions (7-10) are now sixth in the MIAA standings. Lindenwood is tied with Pittsburg State and Emporia State for the sixth place spot. The Lions play 10th-place Missouri Southern (3-14) tomorrow while Pittsburg State plays No. 11 Washburn (14-3) and Emporia State hosts #17 UCO (14-3). Lindenwood holds head-to-head tiebreakers over all three teams that have the potential to tie the Lions.
