QUOTABLE
Head Coach Lance Randall
"As a coach you are always concerned about these post holiday games, but I was pleased with the great start we had. I thought we continued that intensity and unselfish play through most of the 40 minutes. This was a good tune-up, but our number one strength of schedule doesn't get any easier over the next couple of weeks. Tomorrow we will face Illinois State on the road, then on Wednesday it's No. 1 Bellarmine, followed by trips to a solid Missouri Western squad, No. 2 Northwest Missouri, and then No. 12 Florida Southern shortly after that. We'll need to be wearing our big boy pants every night. It's been a good test this far as we've already played two top-10 opponents on the road, in addition to two teams that are receiving votes in the national polls. Our guys are proud of this schedule and we're looking forward to competing every night in the coming weeks."
