GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood men's basketball team (8-6) ended the 2018 calendar year with a 79-56 victory over Judson on Wednesday evening from Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
Chandler Diekvoss paced the Lions offensively with 23 points, as the team never trailed in the contest.
The Lions opened the game on a 10-0 run, holding the visiting Eagles scoreless for the first 5:53 to begin the game.
With just over 13 minutes remaining in the opening frame,
Brenon Larson-Gulsvig connected on a jumper inside the paint to extend the Lindenwood lead to 11 points at 14-3. The 11-point lead would be Lindenwood's largest of the half.
However, Judson did battle back, trimming the Lion lead to just five points at halftime.
Lindenwood scored 10 of the first 12 points to begin the second half, helping the Lions reestablish a double-digit lead that would remain for the game's entirety. The opening surge for Lindenwood was capped off by an and-one layup from
Adam Pohlman with 16:21 to play in the game.
Shortly after Pohlman's three-point play, Diekvoss had two fastbreak dunks within four possessions to help further extend the Lindenwood lead.
The Lions lead got to as many as 23 points, which would be the margin at the final buzzer, as Lindenwood posted its third consecutive win at Hyland Arena to begin the season.

Drew Moore for the team-lead in rebounds with seven.

Nicklas Jonsson set a new single-game career-high for points as a Lion with a 13-point performance (5-of-10 FG, 3-of-8 3PFG).

Adam Pohlman filled out the stat sheet nicely for Lindenwood with eight points, six assists, five rebounds, and four steals.
- Lindenwood finished the game shooting 46.2 percent (30-of-65).
- The Lions forced Judson into 19 turnovers, while only committing eight turnovers themselves.
