The No. 23 Lindenwood wrestling team defeated Fort Hays State on Sunday by a 23-16 margin on Senior Day in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions celebrated two seniors,
Hunter Haralson and
Jake Borgmeyer as both wrestlers earned a victory in their final home match of their careers. No. 8 Haralson shut out his opponent 8-0 while No. 12 Borgmeyer tallied a 9-3 win to seal the victory for the Lions.

Carlos Jacquez notched a 13-3 major decision in the 125-pound match and
Nate Trepanier had the most electric finish of the day in the 149-pound bout. Trepanier was fighting from behind late in the match before flipping his opponent to his back to score a pin at the 5:50 mark.
The Lions improve to 6-5 on the year and 2-3 in the MIAA. Lindenwood will hit the road on Wednesday to take on No. 19 Maryville at 7 p.m. in St. Louis, Mo.
