Freshman Tyler Cassmeyer Shines in 7-5 Win for Baseball

The Lindenwood baseball team defeated Southern Arkansas 7-5 on Thursday night in Magnolia, Ark. in the first game of a three-game series.
 
Game Overview: Lindenwood 7, Southern Arkansas 5
The Lions scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning to help take the lead and eventually held a 7-2 lead after seven innings of play.  Freshman pitcher Tyler Cassmeyer had a strong outing on the bump after tossing a complete game with just three hits allowed and tallied nine strikeouts.
