OVERVIEW
For the second consecutive season, the Lindenwood women's basketball defeated the top-ranked team in the MIAA Tournament with a 75-66 win over No. 6 Central Missouri. It is only the third loss for the Jennies this season and their second loss to an MIAA opponent. The Lions advance to the MIAA semifinals, where they take on the winner of Central Oklahoma and Missouri Western.

NOTABLE
- This is the second time in as many seasons that the Lions have knocked the top-seeded team out of the MIAA Tournament. Last season, the Lions defeated then-No. 9 Pittsburg State 64-63. 
- Lindenwood trailed for most of the game, but gained the lead with 6:12 remaining. UCM tied the contest at 63 with 2:43 remaining, but the Lions responded with a 9-0 run to seal the win. 
- Gabby Walker led the Lions with 20 points and added nine rebounds. Walker also led the game with five steals. 
- Kallie Bildner tallied 17 points and 10 rebounds. 
- Bildner now has 515 points this season, making her the first Lion to record 500 points in a season in the NCAA era of women's basketball. 
- Lindsay Medlen scored 14 points with three assists. She now has 99 assists this year.
- The Lions dominated the paint against the Jennies, outscoring UCM 41-14 in the paint.
- The Lindenwood bench scored 36 points. The Lions held the UCM reserves to 10 points.

The Lions will play the winner of the Central Oklahoma/Missouri Western game in the MIAA Semifinals. The semifinal contest will take place on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. in Kansas City.
