OVERVIEW
Lindenwood softball picked up a sweep of Ave Maria in Florida. The Lions won the first game after a two-run eighth inning to earn the 3-1 extra-inning victory. Lindenwood then scored five runs in the first and three runs in the seventh to capture a 10-6 win in game two. The victories move Lindenwood to 12-8 overall this season.

NOTABLE
- In game one, not only did Galka pick up the complete-game win in the circle, she also led the Lion offense going 2-4 with a run and an RBI.
- Paige Callans scored the eventual winning run after being placed at second in the eighth inning. Galka drove her in with an RBI single. Galka later scored on a Keri Sheehan single. 
- Austine Pauley and Caitlin Touchette each hit doubles in the first game.
- In the second contest, Hanna Porter was 3-5 with a pair of doubles, a run scored and an RBI.
- Megan Clark and Pauley each went 2-3 in the second game. Pauley hit a triple and scored twice. Clark had an RBI.
- Touchette also recorded two hits, while adding a run and an RBI.
- Though she did not record an offical at bat, Sam Dean drew a pair of walks and scored twice.

The Lions return to action tomorrow with a doubleheader at Lynn. First pitch of the double-header is set for 11 a.m. (CT).
