OVERVIEW
Lindenwood sophomore Hannah Johnson ripped her fourth home run of the season as the Lions dropped both games of a doubleheader against Nebraska-Kearney in Hays, Kan. The losses drop the Lions to 13-11 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

NOTABLE
- Hannah Johnson provided a spark for the Lion offense, going 2-2 in the second game. She had a double and a home run, scoring twice with two RBIs. Johnson was involved in every run the Lions scored on the day.
- Johnson's home run was her fourth of the year. Last season, only two Lions hit more than two home runs all season.
- In the second game, Austine Pauley stole a base, her seventh swipe of the season.
- In four innings pitched, Marina Esparza tallied five strikeouts. The freshman leads Lindenwood with 39 strikeouts this year.
- Hanna Porter drew a walk in both games of the double-header, extending her on-base streak to 10 games.

The Lions stay in Hays, Kan. to take on Fort Hays State tomorrow, March 17. Game one of the doubleheader is set to begin at noon.
