The Lindenwood baseball team lost in extra innings to Pittsburg State by a 6-5 final in Pittsburg, Kan. on Friday afternoon.
 
Game Overview: Pittsburg State 6, Lindenwood 5
Drew Quinones opened the scoring in the top of the third with an RBI single, but the Gorillas plated two runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead.  Brett Andersen tied the game in the top of the fourth with an RBI single, however, Pittsburg State scored a pair of runs again in the fifth inning to take a 4-2 lead.  Ryan Sosnowski cut the deficit to just one after a solo-shot to left field.
 
After another run scored by the Gorillas, Lindenwood scored a run in the eight and again in the ninth to force extra frames.  Pittsburg State scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 11th on a wild pitch.
