The Lindenwood baseball team bounced back on Friday with an 8-6 win over Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla. with the help of a three-run homer by Wes Degener.

Game Overview: Lindenwood 8, Central Oklahoma 6
Ian Nelson helped start the scoring for the Lions in the top of the second after a nine-pitch at-bat resulted in a single.  The Lions were patient at the plate and later scored two runs on bases-loaded walks.  DJ Miller drove in the third run of the inning to put Lindenwood ahead 3-0.  Central Oklahoma responded with a run in the bottom of the inning and posted three runs of its own in the bottom of the third to take a 4-3 lead.

Ryan Sosnowski crossed the plate in the top of the fourth to tie the game, but again the Bronchos took the lead with a run in the bottom of the fifth.  Wes Degener flipped the momentum back in favor of the Lions with a three-run dinger to right center, giving Lindenwood the 7-5 advantage.  Each team scored one run the rest of the game as the Lions had a clutch pitching performance from Lucas Tibbs who earned his first win of the season.
