The Lindenwood baseball team generated seven extra base hits in a 14-4 victory over McKendree on Wednesday at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.

Game Overview: Lindenwood 14, McKendree 4
The Lions jumped on the board in the first inning after
Neil Fischer towered a ball deep to left field for a two-run home run. McKendree found a run in the top of the second, but Lindenwood powered its way to a big inning in the bottom frame.Â
Nick Paulda belted a three-run home run down the left field line to quickly put the Lions in front 5-1.

Drew Quinones and Fischer each hit an RBI double to increase the lead to six runs.Â
Ian Nelson singled to center field to drive in a run and later scored on a wild pitch to give the Lions a 9-1 advantage.Â
Vince Saladino and Paulda each drove in a run in the bottom of the fourth, pulling further away from the Bearcats. McKendree tallied three runs in the sixth inning; however the Lions scored two runs in the bottom of the inning and won the game on a walk-off RBI by
Conor Behrens in the seventh inning.
