The Lindenwood baseball team won its final non-conference game of the season over Missouri S&T by a final of 11-2 on Tuesday night at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.

Lindenwood had a strong pitching performance from
Eric Hipp who went five innings and allowed just one unearned run on three hits and tallied three strikeouts. Â
Nate Hillermann was unhittable in his two innings of work as the Lions allowed just two runs on four hits in the game. The Lions scored a pair of runs in the first inning including an RBI double down the right field line by
Dominic Revetta.

Missouri S&T scored an unearned run in the top of the fourth, but the Lions responded with three runs in the bottom of the inning.Â
Wes Degener drove in a run on a single up the middle and
Paul Sherwood drove in a pair on a single through the left side. Â
Conor Behrens scored on a wild pitch to extend the lead to 6-1. After hitting a triple,
Vince Saladino scored on a single by
Jackson Fuller to put Lindenwood in front 7-1 after five innings.Â
Tyler Muehling and Degener each drove in a run on a single and Behrens hit a two-RBI double to give the Lions an 11-1 advantage. The Miners added a run in the ninth, but the Lions earned their victory on Tuesday by an 11-2 margin.
