Women's Volleyball Goes Undefeated at Home Tournament

MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's volleyball team swept Urbana and defeated Missouri S&T 3-1 to go undefeated in day two of the Lindenwood Invitational. Bailey Dvorak (3.15 kills per set on the week) and Allyson Clancy (10.62 assists per set) were named to the all-tournament team. The pair of victories moves the Lions to 4-0 on the year. Prior to the third set against Missouri S&T, Lindenwood had not dropped a set all season. The Lions are 12-1 in set differential this year.

Game One vs. Urbana

- Dvorak narrowly missed a double-double with 10 kills and nine digs. She also hit .500 in the match.
Alexa Pressley notched nine kills with a .571 attack percentage, leading all hitters in the match.
- Allyson Clancy posted 39 assists in the sweep.
- Wagenknecht led the match with three aces while gathering nine digs.
- Kosciuk tallied six total blocks (one solo).
- Kelly Wilson had nine kills with a .533 attack percentage.
- As a team, the Lions hit .494, including two sets where they hit over .500. 

Game Two vs. Missouri S&T
- Wilson led the team with 11 kills.
- Kat Finnerty recorded nine kills and led Lindenwood with a .368 attack percentage and a match-high eight blocks. 
- The Lions outblocked the Miners 12-8. 
- Clancy recorded 38 assists.
- The Lions' back row was tough with Wagenknecht recording 17 digs while freshman Jenna Garrett had 15 digs. 

UP NEXT
The Lions travel to South Dakota for the Augustana Tournament. Lindenwood plays Minnesota State Moorhead and host school Augustana on August 31. The Lions then play Northern State and University of Mary on Sept. 1.
