Lindenwood picked up its first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over nationally ranked Saint Anselm in Louisville, Ky. The Hawks were ranked seventh in the country entering today's contest. It matches the highest-ranked win for the Lions in program history.
Both teams were held scoreless in the first half, but the Lions came out of halftime firing.
Jessie Londono opened the scoring in the 40th minute, followed shortly by
Shelby Easley with an assist from Londono. Lindenwood rises to 1-1 on the season.
