Against Emporia State, Lindenwood women's volleyball set school records for team total blocks (18) and team assist blocks (32) while
Kat Finnerty set a record for individual total blocks with 13. The previous team marks were 16 total blocks vs. Harding on Sept. 5, 2014 and 26 assisted blocks achieved twice: first vs. St. Cloud State on Sept. 7, 2013 and again on Oct. 3, 2014. The individual mark was held by Sarah Makowski, who posted 10 blocks in the 2014 Harding match.
The Lions dropped the five-setter to Emporia State, 3-2. With the loss, Lindenwood falls to 8-7 overall and 0-5 in MIAA matches.
