MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood men's soccer team was defeated 3-0 by the Maryville Saints on Friday evening from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. The loss moves the Lions' record to 1-2-1 for the 2018 season.
Maryville controlled the action from early on, taking a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute of the match.
The Saints would extend their lead to two goals with a score in the 27th minute, and carry that lead into halftime.
Maryville would net the lone goal of the second half in the 64th minute, bringing the game to its final score of 3-0.

Thomas Hutcheson had both of Lindenwood's shots on goal to pace the team.
- Maryville outshot Lindenwood 16-7, and also held a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal.
The Lions were issued six yellow cards in the match, while the Saints received three.
