The No. 6 Lindenwood wrestling team (7-2, 2-0 MIAA) defeated No. 12 Fort Hays State by a 29-16 margin on Friday in Hays, Kan.

Carlos Jacquez opened the night with a dominating 19-3 tech fall.
Tanner Hitchcock followed up with a pinfall just 23 seconds into his match. The Tigers recorded a pin of their own as No. 2 Brandon Ball cut the Lindenwood lead to 11-6 after three matches.
Lindenwood tallied a decision victory in the next three matches. No. 7
Kyle Jolas had one of those three as his win was over the No. 4 wrestler at 157 pounds, Efe Osaghae. Fort Hays won the next two matches to make it 20-16 in favor of Lindenwood with two matches to go.
Jared McKindley shut the door with a pinfall at 197 pounds.
Courvoisier Morrow capped off the night with a decision victory to secure the 29-16 win.
