Women's Basketball Takes on Defending Champions

LINDENWOOD NOTES:
- Lindenwood travels to Warrensburg, Mo. to take on Central Missouri. The Jennies are the defending NCAA DII national champions and the Lions are ranked 24th in the latest WBCA NCAA DII coaches poll. 
- Due to impending weather in the area, the game has been moved from 1:30 p.m. to a noon tip-off. 
- In their last game, the Lions fell at Southwest Baptist for their first conference defeat of the season. Lindenwood won their previous 11 MIAA matchups before losing to the Bearcats. 
- Entering the week, Kallie Bildner was fifth in NCAA DII in field goal percentage at 66.4%. Bildner is 85-128 from the field this season. The Lions, as a team, are second in the NCAA with a field goal percentage of 49.5%.
- Bildner leads the conference in rebounding at 10.5  boards per game and is second in points with 17.7 points per game
- Lindenwood women's basketball is ranked for the first time in program history. The Lions are 24th in the WBCA Coaches Poll. They were receiving votes last week. 
- The Lions are led by first-year head coach Katie Falco. She comes to Lindenwood after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DI South Dakota State. 

Central Missouri Notes:
- The Jennies are 11-4 overall with a 4-3 mark in conference games. 
- Last time out, UCM defeated Lincoln 77-58. Megan Skaggs posted a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. 
- The Jennies are led by 2017-18 MIAA Player of the Year Paige Redmond, who scores 17.1 points per game with a .405 shooting percentage (.356 from three) and 59 assists.
- Megan Skaggs and Kim Crown lead the team with 5.9 rebounds per game. Morgan Fleming is close behind with 5.4 rebounds per game. 

Series Notes:
- Lindenwood is 4-10 all-time against the Jennies, but won the last outing between the two schools on Mar. 1, 2018. The Lions defeated UCM 75-66 at Municipal Auditorium, knocking the Jennies out of the MIAA Tournament. 
- In four career games against UCM, Kallie Bildner has scored 61 points with 38 rebounds. 
- Lindsay Medlen shoots .360 from three in her career against Central Missouri.
