Lindenwood Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Brad Wachler has announced a change of leadership of the men's and women's tennis program.

Under former head coach Nicolai Nonnenbroich, the two programs combined for an overall record of 10-26 with a 3-11 record in the MIAA.  Nonnenbroich had one all-MIAA performer in Naoufal El Idrissi on the men's side.  Assistant coach Dennis Myers will serve as the interim head coach effective immediately.

Myers is a USPTA and USPTR tennis teaching professional at Vetta West in St. Peters, Mo. where he coaches adult and junior USTA teams.  He has coached many high school players to prepare them for their collegiate careers throughout his 25-year career across Missouri, Illinois, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Both teams will open the spring season on Saturday, February 9 in Evansville, Ind. to take on Southern Indiana at 3:30 p.m.
