LINDENWOOD NOTES:
- Lindenwood hosts Pittsburg State in a battle of two teams undefeated in MIAA games. Both the Lions and Gorillas are 3-0 to start the year in the MIAA. There are four teams undefeated in MIAA action, but only three 3-0 teams remain.
- In their last game, the Lions defeated Missouri Southern 79-71 for the fifth straight win. In that contest, Lindenwood had a pair of forwards tally double-doubles. Kallie Bildner scored 23 points with 16 rebounds while Lexie Moe added 15 points and 10 rebounds. 
- Entering the week, Kallie Bildner was second in all of NCAA DII in field goal percentage at 68.0%. Bildner is 70-103 from the field this season. The Lions, as a team, are second in the NCAA with a field goal percentage of 50.8%.
-Lindenwood's 9-1 start is the program's best 10-game start to a season in the NCAA era. 
- The Lions are 38th nationally in three-point field goal percentage at 35.8%.
- Lindenwood leads NCAA DII in rebounding margin at 12.9.
- The Lions are led by first-year head coach Katie Falco. She comes to Lindenwood after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DI South Dakota State. 

Pittsburg State Notes:
- The Gorillas are 11-1 overall with a 3-0 mark in MIAA games. Only undefeated Fort Hays State (12-0) has more wins in the MIAA.
- On Thursday, Pittsburg State defeated Lincoln 98-68 in Jefferson City, Mo. Shelby Lopez scored 30 points in the game, the second-highest single-game point total in the MIAA this season.
- The Gorillas are one of the better shooting teams in NCAA DII. They rank 15th in three-point field goal percentage (38.4%) and 16th in field goal percentage (46.7%). 
- Pittsburg State is led by Shelby Lopez, who scores 13.6 points per game. Athena Alvarado also scores in double figures with 11.3 points per game. Alvarado also leads the team with 6.6 rebounds per game. 
- Alvarado is 10th in NCAA DII in field goal percentage at 61.9%. 
- Kaylee DaMitz is eighth in the country in free throw percentage at 91.9%.

Series Notes:
- Pittsburg State owns the all-time series 8-1. The Gorillas have won the past two contests. Lindenwood picked up its lone win in the 2017 MIAA Tournament, knocking out top-seeded Pittsburg State 64-63 in Kansas City, Mo.
- Lindsay Medlen has scored 55 points against the Gorillas in four career games for 13.8 points per game. Charisse Williams also scored 55 points, but in five games for 11.0 points per game.
- Kallie Bildner has played the Gorillas three times in her career, gathering 23 rebounds.
