Three Different Lions Register Two Points in 5-0 Win for Women's Hockey

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's hockey team (5-13-2) picked up its second-straight victory on Sunday with a 5-0 win over Post University at Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo.  The Lions had two assists on every goal as Maddison Stitt pitched in for two helpers.
 
Hannah Alt opened the scoring with her sixth goal of the season with the help of Kirsten Martin and Alexandra Larson.  Martin registered her second point of the period with a goal, while Alt had her second point with the assist.  Jane Jacobs scored the second goal of her career at the 16:42 mark to give Lindenwood the 3-0 lead after one period of play.
 
Cierra Paisley scored early in the second period to make it a four-goal game, as the Lions registered 34 shots in the second frame.  Post tallied their highest shot total in the second with four shots, while Sophie Wolf made all four saves.  Jada Burke scored her fourth goal this weekend and sixth goal in the last four games to give Lindenwood a 5-0 lead.  The Lions held on for the shutout victory on Sunday, as Lauren Hennessey came in and made three stops in the third period.
