Lindenwood women's hockey freshman Jada Burke has been named CHA Rookie of the Week for her outstanding play this past weekend.  Burke registered a hat trick on Saturday to help the Lions to a 12-0 win over Post University.

Burke scored one goal in each of the three periods on Saturday, including the final goal of the game on the power play.  The 6-0 freshman tallied her first multi-goal game of her career and pitched in for two assists in the game.  Burke scored again on Sunday to bring her weekend point total to six, with four goals.

The Lions defeated Post University on Sunday by a 5-0 margin with the help of the Nepean, Ontario native.  Burke has scored at least one goal in each of her last four games, as six of her eight goals this year have come at Lindenwood Ice Arena.

Lindenwood will be back in action on Sunday, January 20 when the Lions head to University Park, Pa. to take on Penn State in a two-game series.
