The Lindenwood men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the William Jewell Cardinals on Sunday afternoon from Hunter Stadium. With the tie, Lindenwood remains unbeaten in its last four matches, as it moves its record to 6-4-3 overall and 5-3-3 in the GLVC.
MATCH OVERVIEW
The match remained at zero until the 16th minute when
Mandlenkosi Seremani put the Lions ahead 1-0 off an assist from
Thomas Hutcheson. The assist was Hutcheson's first of the season. Lindenwood maintained the 1-0 lead for the duration of the first half.
William Jewell was able to even the score in the 54th minute of the match. Each team exchanged scoring chances for the remainder of regulation, but neither team was able to convert, sending the match into overtime.
The scoreless play continued during the two 10-minute overtime periods, bringing the match to its final result of 1-1
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
