MATCH OVERVIEW
Lindenwood women's volleyball battled No. 11 Rockhurst in the first-ever GLVC match at Hyland Arena, but the Lions fell to the Hawks in three. It is the first time the Lions have been swept this season. The defeat drops Lindenwood to 8-4 overall this year and 1-2 in GLVC matches.

NOTABLE
- Alexa Pressley led the Lions with seven kills, two aces and a .286 hitting percentage. 
- Setter Jenna Garrett recorded her fourth double-double of the year with 21 assists and 11 digs. 
- Mackenzi Sifuentes and Kat Finnerty each notched seven kills against the Hawks.
- Sadie Kosciuk had six kills with an ace and a solo block. 
- Defensively, Maider Sancho led the Lions with 12 digs. 
- The Hawks hit .319 in the match, the only team to record a .300 or better hitting percentage against Lindenwood this season.
- The Lions were swept for the first time this season. Lindenwood has recorded seven sweeps this year.

UP NEXT
The Lions host GLVC foe William Jewell on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 12 p.m. Though the game is a home contest for the Lions, the match will be played on UMSL's campus at the Mark Twain Building.
