Lindenwood University will host over 560 collegiate wrestlers from 38 different teams in The Lindenwood Open on Saturday, Nov. 23, presented by Callahan Custom Homes and Bokal Construction. The Open will have two separate divisions (freshman/sophomore and open) spread over 13 mats. Talent from every level of collegiate wrestling will be represented.

The Open features 13 separate mats and each mat will have live video streaming on FloWrestling.com. Several NCAA DI teams will be in the field, including Mizzou, Illinois, Iowa, Oklahoma State and Northwestern. On the D2 side, Lindenwood, Maryville, Central Oklahoma and McKendree will all be in attendance.

Among the individual wrestlers is Lindenwoods' Carlos Jacquez. Last season, Jacquez was the NCAA Division II National Champion at 125, posting a sterling 30-0 record. He has named the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division II Wrestler of the Year. This year's open features four All-Americans, including Jacquez, in the 125-pound weight class.
