Women's Basketball Plays Quincy in Non-Conference Play

LINDENWOOD NOTES:
- Lindenwood takes on new conference foe Quincy in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday. The Lions and Hawks have played twice previously, splitting the series 1-1. Lindenwood won the last meeting, which took place last season, 84-60 on December 17, 2018. 
- The Lions are coming off of a pair of wins at the GMAC/GLIAC/GLVC Challenge, taking down Walsh and Ursuline. In the Walsh contest, Devin Fuhring tallied 24 points to lead the Lions over the Cavaliers, who advanced to the NCAA Tournament a year ago and are the preseason favorites in the GMAC this season. Kallie Bildner posted 23 points with 12 rebounds against Walsh. Against Ursuline, Bildner led the Lions in scoring with 19 points on 7-10 shooting. 
- Last weekend, Kallie Bildner grabbed her 856th career rebound, setting the Lindenwood mark for career rebounds. The senior now has 872 career rebounds, third among all active NCAA DII student-athletes. 
- Lindenwood junior transfers Julia and Kate Ruzevich played at Quincy during their freshman seasons. Julia was named to the GLVC All-Freshman team while Kate was the provided a spark off the bench, playing in 23 games. 
- Kallie Bildner was named the GLVC Player of the Week on November 18. She becomes the first Lion to earn a GLVC award. 
- Against Pittsburg State on November 13, Bildner scored 35 points, the most scored by a Lion in the NCAA era of Lindenwood Athletics. The Lindenwood record for points in a game in the NAIA is 41 points. 
- Lindenwood returns two starters from last year's team that went 21-8, advancing to the Central Regional for the second consecutive season. Leading the returners is Kallie Bildner, who led the MIAA in points, rebounds and shooting percentage. Also returning is starting point guard Lindsay Medlen who tallied 90 assists a year ago. 
- The Lions are led by second-year head coach Katie Falco. She joined Lindenwood after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DI South Dakota State. 

QUINCY NOTES:
- The Hawks are 2-3 overall, most recently going 1-1 at the QU Subway Classic. Quincy defeated Upper Iowa 58-47 on Nov. 22 before falling to Winona State 73-63 in overtime.
- This is the sixth-consecutive home game for the Hawks. 
- As a team, Quincy is 25th nationally in fewest turnovers with 40 turnovers over five games played this season. The Hawks are second in the GLVC with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.18:1
- Aleksandra Petrovic leads the Hawks in scoring at 12.8 points per game. She is the Quincy sharpshooter, going 6-16 (.375) from beyond the arc.
- Ella Gobald (7.4) and Grace Schraufnagel (7.3) lead Quincy in rebounds per game. 

SERIES NOTES:
-Lindenwood and Quincy have met twice previously, with both teams winning a game. The Lions won the last game played last December, 84-60.
- In the last meeting, Kallie Bildner scoring 17 points with 15 rebounds over 24 minutes played. As a team, the Lions shot 32-61 (52.5%). Her 15 rebounds are the most ever recorded by a Lion against the Hawks. 
- Last game, the Lions scored 84 points, 50 occuring in the paint. The Hawks only had 12 points in the paint. Additionally, the Lions scored 20 second-chance points to Quincy's eight.
