The Lindenwood women's soccer team wrapped up the 2019 season on Sunday afternoon in Kirksville, Mo. The Lions dropped their final match of the season, falling by a 2-1 final score at the Truman State Bulldogs.

MATCH OVERVIEW
Lindenwood took an early 1-0 lead in the match, as Mia Corrigan notched her second goal of the season in the ninth minute.

The lead was short lived, however, as Truman State answered back just 73 seconds after the Corrigan goal.

The 1-1 score held up through the end of the first half and past the midway point of the second frame.

In the 72nd minute, Truman State netted what would prove to be the game-winning score, as the Bulldogs moved ahead by a 2-1 margin.

Lindenwood's efforts to pull even with Truman State over the final minutes fell short, as the Bulldogs closed out the victory.

- Corrigan's goal in the ninth minute brought her season total to two goals, tied for the second most on the team.

Lindenwood concludes the 2019 season with a 7-9-1 record and a 6-8-1 mark from within the GLVC. The Lions posted a 4-2-1 record from Hunter Stadium.
